The Programs

During the 1960s and 1970s, I had my cleft/evaluations at Children's Mercy Hospital. My mom and I spent all day going from one clinic to another. Many times the appointments ran behind.

The cleft palate/craniofacial clinic at Children's Mercy serves anyone with any craniofacial anomaly from infancy to the age of twenty-one.

Please visit the following links for more information about Children Mercy's Cleft/Craniofacial Program: Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Teams.

When I had my cleft/craniofacial evaluation in June 1997, I went to the Mid-America Cleft and Craniofacial Program at St. Luke's Hospital.

The cleft and craniofacial program at St. Luke's Hospital served children, teens, and adults with craniofacial anomalies. The program is no longer based at St. Luke's Hospital. (Don't ask me what I am going to do if I ever need the services of a craniofacial team in the future. :) )
