June 1964 to August 1969

I had my first surgery on Wed., June 24, 1964, at St. Luke's Hospital. That was to repair my lip. Then I had surgery in March 1966 to close my palate at Research Hospital (now Research Medical Center). The next time I would go to the OR would be to place tubes in my ears. That was in 1967 or 1968 at St. Mary's Hospital. In 1969 at Research Hospital (now Research Medical Center), I underwent surgery to create my nasal passage. The morning after that surgery, the packing came out thru the back of my throat. I had to go back to the OR later that day to have the packing put back in my nasal passage. (I don't remember either surgery.)
